The ICKM Council is an informal group dedicated to the advancement of the knowledge management profession and bridging the knowledge gap between academics and practitioners in the hope of fostering more sustainable societal developments. The council supports scientific and practical developments in the area of knowledge management and related disciplines. The major effort of the group is devoted to overseeing the organization of the International Conference on Knowledge Management and all other the related events. The council membership is open to everyone who is qualified to make a contribution to the knowledge management field and related disciplines by meeting at least one of these conditions.
- Nominated by other members for an outstanding work in the area of knowledge management or related disciplines
- Participated in at least one ICKM events and have shown interest and dedication to the KM profession.
- The president or a nominated representative of one of the knowledge management societies.
